The Rotary Club of Bracknell is organising the Three Counties Cycle Ride again this year and it will take place on Sunday 4th June.
On Tuesday 14th March at 12.00, we launched the event with a Radio Berkshire interview and a press photo-call/publicity event at the Old Manor Hotel in Bracknell.
The Launch was attended by the Mayor of Bracknell Forest Borough, Cllr Tony Virgo, Kate Martin representing TV Air Ambulance, Hilary Sodhi representing the Stroke Association and members of the Rotary Club of Bracknell.
The Three Counties Cycle Ride is a community event, a sponsored cycle ride, catering for all levels of riders. There are three rides: 15 miles, 33 miles and 54 miles which are set in the surrounding beautiful countryside of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Last year we enrolled over 600 riders through our website with many more enrolling on the day raising over £16,000 for our nominated charities. This year we hope to exceed that figure and raise even more money for the charities we are supporting this year:
Thames Valley and Chilterns Air Ambulance, Stroke Association, British Heart Foundation, Macmillan cancer Care and the Rotary Club of Bracknell Trust Fund.
Riders receive a certificate, medal and souvenir T-shirt.
